Southern District Women's Golf Association of Arizona   

                                     New Tournament -" District Challenge"

A new tournament will be run in June of 2011 which pits the skills of the Southern District against the Central District.  Arrangements have been made to hold this tournament at Stone Creek Club in Paradise Valley.  The cost of the tournament for two day's play, lunch, prizes, and one night stay at the Embassy Suites will be $140 pp.  Additional rates are being found for those who want to come early and stay an extra day.  Discussions between the two districts are ongoing concerning the format.  If successful , this will be a bi-yearly tournament, that rotates between a Central District and Southern District site.  Watch this site for more details.

                                     Membership Announcement

All reps should inform their members that our by-laws require that a player must be  a member of one of our member clubs as well as AWGA.  IF YOU LEAVE YOUR CLUB - YOU ARE NO LONGER A SDWGA MEMBER.  You must renew your membership through your new club to be eligible for SDWGA tournaments.,
